Another crypto analyst and veteran trader, Ilan Tennenbaum, said, \u201cIt\u2019s a known fact around the world that Israel is a big tech country. The biggest support that Israeli companies have given to the blockchain world is cybersecurity. Because there are billions of dollars transacting on these networks, security is a very, very big issue, and Israeli companies lead the way in that sense.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the year comes to a close, there is a certain sense of anticipation regarding the country\u2019s future success in the rapidly expanding field of cryptocurrency and blockchain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLooking into the future, I think that blockchain\u2019s going to get bigger, as will all the companies that support the technology,\u201d Tennenbaum suggested. \u201cI hope and believe that Israel will lead that expansion, both in security and other developments.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in July, Israel reported the seizure<\/a> of cryptocurrency accounts used by the Palestinian Hamas group to raise funds for its armed wing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Benny Gantz, Israeli Defense Minister, ordered security forces to seize the accounts after a joint operation \u201cuncovered a web of electronic wallets\u201d used by Hamas to raise money, the ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
