Metahero announced at the 4th edition of the Future Blockchain Summit at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) the global launch of its v3 Metascanner, a cutting-edge technology cited as the world’s most advanced 3D scanner. The technology opens the potential gateway to the metaverse, an expansive network of persistent, real-time rendered 3D worlds and simulations. Metahero revealed plans for 24 of its 3D chambers at 24 locations worldwide.
The technology, developed in partnership with Wolf Studio, can scan any person or real-world object to be used in the digital world or video games via the Hero token and special 3D chambers. Metahero claims that Ferrari, Disney, and CD Project have already made use of its tech.
Metahero special presentation was cast live to the world from the 4th edition of the Future Blockchain Summit at DWTC as part of GITEX Global, the world’s largest technology showcase this year.
“This is the future, the gateway to the metaverse, which will be the biggest thing mankind has ever seen,” said Metahero CEO Robert Gryn at the presentation. “The Metascanner is the bridge between the physical and digital. Through the most advanced 3D scanner in the world, we will engage with those who may not even care about crypto, and we are talking billions on social media and gaming.”
Metahero also announced plans for 24 of its world-first Metascanners at 24 locations across the globe. Metahero bills its offering as a next-gen real utility token. That includes its potential use in NFT applications. The token claims to be the first of its kind with real-world utility.
The MetaHero Universe: Identities NFT project is where users can buy NFT characters to be used in the MetaHero game.
According to the project description on OpenSea, “MetaHero Identities are a collection of heroes, villains, and mutants native to the MetaHero Universe. The Core Collection consists of 146 fully matched MetaHero concept characters, including two special mints, collaboratively designed by project creatives Chris Wahl and Odious.”
The presentation of the cutting-edge technology has suited the venue as well as possible. Seeking to make Dubai the world’s leading destination for all major events, exhibitions, and conferences, the Dubai World Trade Center has evolved into a multi-dimensional business catalyst focusing on venues, events, and real estate management.
